1. Acceptance of Terms

The present Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the job posting platform operated by Neoquajobs Inc. (the “Platform”). By accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any of these Terms, you must cease using the Platform.

2. User definition

The Terms apply to :

  1. Job Seekers People using the Platform to consult and apply for job offers;
  2. Employers Companies or authorized representatives publishing job offers or using recruitment tools;
  3. Visitors People browsing the Platform without creating an account.

3. Account creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to :

  1. Provide accurate and up-to-date information;
  2. Do not create an account for another person without authorization;
  3. Keep your login and password confidential;
  4. Immediately notify Neoquajobs of any unauthorized use of your account.

Neoquajobs reserves the right to refuse or suspend an account at its discretion.

4. Permitted use of the Platform

You are authorized to use the Platform solely for legitimate purposes, including:

  1. Consult and publish job offers
  2. Managing or submitting applications
  3. Recruitment communication between job seekers and employers

Any use contrary to the law or to the proper functioning of the Platform is prohibited.

5. Prohibited uses

It is strictly forbidden to :

  1. Publish false, misleading, defamatory, illegal or discriminatory content;
  2. Use the Platform to solicit, promote or sell unauthorized products or services;
  3. Scrape, copy or extract data on a large scale;
  4. Interfere with the technical operation of the Platform;
  5. Impersonate a user, employer or organization;
  6. Submit files containing viruses or malware.

Neoquajobs may immediately suspend access in the event of non-compliance.

6. User-published content

Users remain entirely responsible for the content they publish, in particular :

  1. Job offers ;
  2. Profiles, CVs, messages or documents transmitted ;
  3. Corporate information.

By posting content on the Platform, you grant Neoquajobs a non-exclusive, limited license to display and use such content for the purpose of operating the Platform.

Neoquajobs reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate or non-compliant.

7. Accuracy of information

Neoquajobs makes every effort to provide reliable information, but does not guarantee the accuracy, validity or continued availability of job offers or information published by employers.

Users are responsible for verifying all information before making a decision.

8. Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, texts, functionalities and logos, is protected by applicable laws. It is forbidden to :

  1. Reproduce or redistribute the content of the Platform;
  2. Use Neoquajobs trademarks or logos without prior authorization.

9. Payments and paid services

For certain services (e.g. publication of premium offers), fees may apply. When you purchase a service :

  1. You accept the prices displayed at the time of purchase;
  2. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise indicated;
  3. Invoices can be issued electronically.

Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of liability

Neoquajobs is not responsible for :

  1. The truthfulness or quality of offers published by employers;
  2. Hiring or application decisions ;
  3. Service interruptions or technical problems ;
  4. Indirect, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of the Platform.

Your use is at your own risk.

11. Termination

Neoquajobs may terminate or limit your access at any time, in particular if:

  1. You are in breach of these Terms;
  2. Your activity is detrimental to the operation or security of the Platform;
  3. You use the Platform for fraudulent or abusive purposes.

You can also delete your account at any time.

12. Modifications to the Terms

Neoquajobs may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform with the date of the update. Your continued use constitutes your acceptance of these changes.

13. Applicable laws

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute must be brought before the courts located in Quebec.
